You’re not going to believe it when we tell you that you have got to make sure you check out a public restroom in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. You simply must because they have been named some of the very best bathrooms in the whole world!

These creative, innovative and fascinating washrooms are located in the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, which also features dozens of exhibits every year. This non-profit art museum is located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin at 608 New York Avenue.

The museum itself draws as many visitors as those who come just to take a peek at the toilets! The museum takes its name from the Kohler Co., which is based nearby. The Kohler Co. is known for its beautiful bathroom and kitchen fixtures that are not only high quality but also stylish. Six different artists created the bathrooms at the museum. The idea is to symbolize the connection between the industry that Kohler is in and art. Basically, each of the six bathrooms is a functional piece of art! The artists were allowed to stretch their imaginations and create the bathrooms. The materials used to make these artistic creations included pottery, brass, enamel and even iron.

The various restrooms are each stylized differently. One has a water theme while another pays homage to women’s clothing. Another one even includes some religious symbolism. The bathrooms are open to all who want to explore these permanent artistic creations.

You can view the bathrooms when you see the rest of the John Michael Arts Center, which offers free admission.
