Just because the temps have dipped and there’s snow on the ground doesn’t mean the fun stops here! There are many Sheboygan winter activities that will keep you interested and active all winter long. There also are many Sheboygan fall activities that are enjoyable and worth exploring.
Some fun winter things to do include cross country skiing at Kohler-Andrae State Park, which also allows winter camping for those daring enough to explore this fun activity. If you want a memorable activity, the Kohler-Andrae State Park also has a few night when it offers candlelight skiing. This event allows skiers to enjoy the beauty of the night and ski by the light of tiki torches. Ice skating, snowshoeing and sledding also are great fun and very popular Sheboygan winter sports.
In the fall, many families enjoy local area pumpkin patches and corn mazes that can be found in Sheboygan County.
The vast network of parks across Sheboygan County also is a good place to hike in the fall and enjoy the lovely changing of the trees into fall colors.
For those who prefer something else, Sheboygan has many great restaurants and shopping districts with unique shops and fun places to explore.
Fall is also the time for the Sheboygan County Fair, Taste Sheboygan, the Sheboygan Shindig and the Kohler Food and Wine Experience. In all, these are seasons here you won’t want to miss!
