All parents want to find good schools for their children. The Sheboygan schools are among some of the area’s best and offer a variety of programs that will suit the differing needs of various students and their parents.
The Sheboygan, Wisconsin school district is called the Sheboygan Area School District. The Sheboygan Area School District serves the city of Sheboygan in addition to the village of Cleveland and the towns of Centerville, Mosel and Wilson, Wisconsin. These Sheboygan, WI public schools have about 1,500 teachers on staff.
Within the school district there are a variety of grade levels. There’s one school devoted to early childhood education and there are a dozen elementary schools. As children age they can attend one of the three middle schools and then move on to the two high schools in the Sheboygan Area School District.
As noted before, there are various types of schools to meet the diverse needs of various students. The Sheboygan Area School District also offers a few alternative schooling programs. The Riverview Alternative Program aims to help kids finish school and graduate. There is also a program called the STRIVE Alternative Program. STRIVE stands for Sheboygan Transition through Reintegration and Involvement.
There also are programs for teen parents, vocational programs and much more all designed to help meet the distinct needs of Sheboygan students.
