Artist Statement Time passes, yielding deterioration and decay; renewal. History's drama is created by the weight of time on the environment. The most everyday spaces can passport us to mysteries of an unseen world. The ordinary that goes unnoticed.
My work explores my fascination with these conventional spaces of the everyday. I see them as a point of contemplation, a contemporary statement on past and present, kept. Our future is the prevailing mystery, bound by our vision, ambition and industry. EFFJAY PROJEKTS is a contemporary art gallery located on the Eastside of Sheboygan, WI established by Frank Juarez in 2011. The gallery strives to meet the needs of today's artist by providing a space that offers the public access to contemporary works such as paintings, sculpture, time based media, photography, installations and mixed media works created at the local, regional and national level.
